Assemblies

Tydixon

The Tydixon Assembly located in St Catherine Jamaica West Indies, started in the year 1970 when brethren from the Clover Hill Assembly began conducting evangelistic meetings in the community. A few persons readily accepted the Gospel message and joined in worshipping at the Clover Hill church.

The Amos’ family in Tydixon, later made their home available to hold worship services for the small group which included members of the Clunie, McLean and Haye families. Many other persons, including brethren from Headquarters (20 East Road) visited from time to time and shared in the fellowship.

As the attendance grew, and with it the need for a place of worship, Mr Haye (who eventually became a member) donated the land for the construction of the Church building which was then erected and dedicated in 1972.

Over the years, the small group remained committed to the Ministry resulting in other souls being added to the Body of Christ, many of whom have testified of the power of God manifesting in their lives in various ways.

Under the present leadership of Evangelist Leighton Sinclair the Church remains active in the Community.

To God be the Glory!
