Assemblies

Brandon Hill

The Brandon Hill Assembly in St Andrew, Jamaica, West Indies, came into being as a result of a divine revelation from the Lord that “The field is ripe, send fifty (50) strong”. A campaign was then launched which included an open-air meeting in the Brandon Hill Square.

The first Sabbath service was held at the Burrell’s home in March 1977, under the leadership of Overseer Pastor Hixroy J. Waugh. Services continued there, until a temporary structure was erected on land rented from one Miss W. Antoine.

The first baptism was held in August 1978 when five (5) candidates were immersed.

The church building was relocated to its permanent location on December 15, 1996, in a temporary structure. Over time, this structure became inadequate and hence the erection of a permanent structure which was completed and dedicated to the Glory of God on November 16, 2008.

Although the work has challenges, souls are being added along the way.

The Church is being led by Pastor Headlyn Graham.

Thanks be to God for His many blessings!
